Rajendra Agricultural University Recruitment 2012

Rajendra Agricultural University of RAU was actually formed in 1903 as the India’s first Imperial Agriculture Research Institute. After this it was renamed as Indian Agriculture Research Institute and it got its present name in 1970. It is located at Pusa of Bihar state. It is affiliated to UGC. RAU offers higher education in the discipline of Agriculture, Veterinary & Animal Sciences, Agriculture Engineering, Basic Sciences, Humanities & Home Sciences and other fields. It is regarded as one of the best agricultural university of India.

RAU, Pusa invites applications form Indian Nationals for various non teaching posts. For this it has released an advertisement in its official website. Interested and eligible candidates can apply before 28th April 2012 by sending an application form in a prescribed format. Details about the vacancies are given below.

Under the pay scale of Rs.9300-34800/- with GP Rs.4600/- per month,
23 vacancies are for Assistant, 1 post is for Technical Assistant.

Under the pay scale of Rs.5200-20200/- with appropriate grade pay,
18 posts are for Lower Division Clerks, 7 are for Field Overseer, 5 are for Electrician, 1 is for Draftsman, 2 are for Dynamic Staff, 1 post is for Correspondence Clerk.

Under the pay scale of Rs.4400-74400/- with Rs.1650/- as grade pay,
2 posts are for Plumber, 1 is for Livestock Assistant, 2 posts are for Tiller 1 vacancy is for shepherd.

Age limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 37 years of age is required for all the above mentioned positions.

Selection will be made through trade test and interview.
