Punjab and Sind Bank Recruitment 2012 for PO Job Posts

Punjab and Sind Bank has issued notification against recruitment of 900 PO Vacancies under Junior Management Grade Scale I. Candidates who have taken the Common Written Examination (CWE) for PO/MT conducted by IBPS in 2011-2012 and obtained a valid IBPS Score Card are only eligible to apply.

Punjab and Sind Bank Vacancy Details:

Number of Vacancies: 900
Name of Post: Probationary Officer

Age Limit: Candidates’ age must be between 21 years to 30 years. Cutoff date for determining age limit would be 01-07-2011. (Age relaxations will be extended as per Govt. rules).

Educational Qualification: Applicants must possess a Graduate Degree from recognized university with 55% marks for General and OBC candidates and with 50% marks for SC/ST/PWD candidates.

IBPS Score Card Minimum Weighted Score: Candidates must have the minimum TWSS in IBPS CWE which will be decided by the bank at the time of short listing candidates for Interview.

Application Fee Details:

Candidates must download the Challan from Punjab and Sind Bank official website and make the payment in any of the CBS Punjab and Sind Bank branches. Amount of fee would be Rs. 200/- for General and OBC candidates and Rs. 50/- for SC/ST/PWD candidates. Fee can also be paid by the use of NEFT at any NEFT enable branch.

Application must be paid in Account no. 06061100068285 with Rajendra Place, New Delhi -110008 Branch in the name & style of PSB PO Recruitment Project-2012-13”.

Selection Process: Initial short listing of candidates will be made on the basis of CWE score and final selections will be made on the basis of Interview.

How to Apply:

Eligible candidates need to apply only through Online mode from Punjab and Sind Bank website on or before 10-05-2012. After submission of application candidates can take a printout of the system generated on-line application form to be submitted at the time of the interview. The registration number and password generated should also be retained for future reference.

Instructions for Online Application:

1. Log on to www.psbindia.com and select the ‘Recruitment’ link.
2. Select the Download Fee Payment Challan Form for the Post of Probationary Officer.
3. Make the payment at the bank or through use of NEFT.
4. Revisit the Bank’s website and this time select Online Application for Punjab and Sind Bank Probationary Officers’ Recruitemtn Project- 2012-13 link.
5. Select the Apply Online link, fill all marked details carefully and click on ‘Submit’ button.
6. Take print of Application Form and retain it for further use.
